How long does the migration take?

Most single-site migrations take 2–6 hours depending on site size, database size, and DNS/Cloudflare setup. DNS propagation can take longer globally, but I plan the switch to keep downtime minimal.

Will my website go offline during the move?

In most cases, no. I migrate the site to Hostinger first, test it, and only then guide the DNS/Cloudflare switch. There may be a brief transition window during DNS propagation, but the goal is minimal downtime and a clean cutover.

What access do you need from me?

To migrate safely, I need:

HostGator cPanel access (files + database export)
Hostinger access (upload + database import)
Domain/DNS access (or Cloudflare access if you use it)

If you prefer, you can create temporary access and remove it after completion.

Do you migrate email accounts too?

Email mailbox migration is not included by default because it depends on how your email is hosted (cPanel mail, Google Workspace, third-party SMTP, etc.). If you need mailbox transfer, tell me what you use and I can offer it as an extra.

What exactly is included in testing and the final checklist?

Before the DNS switch, I test the site on Hostinger to confirm it loads correctly and core pages work. After the switch, I verify:

Homepage + key pages
Database connection and critical functions (forms/login if applicable)
SSL enabled + HTTPS working
Basic redirect/404 validation (critical issues only)

You receive a post-migration checklist report summarizing what was moved and what was verified.
